Don Giovanni visits Buchanan Park Public School
Daniel Okulitch, who played Don Giovanni in Opera Hamilton's production at Hamilton Place and Centre in the Square, paid a visit to Buchanan Park Public School on the West Mountain to meet some avid, young opera fans and answer questions. Buchanan Park Opera Club enters its thirteenth opera season at the school with a performance of the same opera in April of 2007 to raise money for children's cancer research for Hamilton Health Sciences. To date the school has raised over $22,000. Amazingly, every single student, from grade one to six, is involved in some aspect of the opera... that's almost 250 participants!
