2008 May > Wal-mart Supports 2010 Little League Championships

The combined fundraising efforts of Wal-mart's Ancaster & Brantford stores from January 9th to the 31st resulted in a $22,000 cheque presentation made at the Ancaster location to the organizing committee of the 2010 Canadian Little League Championships, scheduled to be played in Ancaster. The funds will support many aspects of the Championships during the 10 days that the six regional-qualifying teams are here, vying for a birth in the 2010 Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
