2008 August > Red Leaf Car Wash

On July 14th, as part of their studies while here on exchange, students from Spain who were attending Mohawk College for the month learning leadership skills and the English language, participated in a charity car wash on July 14th. These 16 and 17 year olds were here as a result of the efforts of Red Leaf Student Programs, who provide year-round academic and summer programs for international teen students in communities across Canada. The car wash was held at Beverly Tires at Upper Sherman and Mohawk and proceeds benefited the Hamilton Brain Injury Association. Check out red-leaf.com for more info on their programming.
