2008 August > Passport To Hamilton

This great new initiative of Environment Hamilton rewards groups traveling by bus by providing valid Day Pass holders with discounts to Hamilton gems – one of the only programs of its kind in Canada! We visited the "family vacation” themed ploject Launch at Pier 8 on July 18th which included free local ice cream, a free trolley ride, free day passes, the old fashioned HSR trolley and much more. The project aims to encourage bus use and help Hamiltonians and tourists alike to have discount adventures in Hamilton. When a group of up to six people arrives at any of 60 participating locations in the city with a valid HSR Day Pass for that day, they will receive a discount. Visit environmenthamilton.org for more info.
