Rebecca Hill is a mainstay at the Ice Cream Shoppe located next to the Egg & I Restaurant on Upper Centennial on the Stoney Creek Mountain. Her hard work and dedication this summer has ensured the success of the Shoppe and put smiles on many young faces, one scoop at a time. Shortly, those scoops will be replaced with bricks and two by fours and the young faces will be those of Kenyan children. Rebecca will be joining 25 other young adults from Southern Ontario as they spend three weeks in Kenya, building a new school and providing much-needed attention to local children through primary-level teaching, instruction and games and crafts through a program called "Free The Children", the world's largest network of young people helping children through education. We, along with all of her co-workers at The Egg & I and The Ice Cream Shoppe congratulate Rebecca on her humanitarian efforts and wish her a safe and successful experience.
